Flyers fly over the
lake

It was a must win game for the
Flyers tonight against the Fort Frances Lakers, but as are pretty much
every game around this time of year.
It took more than 60 minutes,
but the Flyers were able to take a well deserved two points as they
downed the Lakers 3-2 in overtime.
Jacob Nolan
opened the scoring but it wasn't until 2:12 remaining remaining in the
first period. His 11th goal of the season sent the Flyers to the
dressing room with the momentum they needed to seal the victory in
this one.

Three Former Flyers going to the NJCAA
Championship
The Williston State College Tetons hockey team clinched its berth in
the upcoming National Junior College Athletic Association hockey
tournament with a 6-2 win over Dakota College at Bottineau on Saturday
night in Bottineau.
The national tournament is Feb. 25-26 in Rochester, N.Y.

Chris Hoffman recorded 23 points in
nine games he played in January,
Including 2 had tricks, a 5 point game and 8 multi point games.

Per-Game Meal are a big Hit |

The Sioux Flyers put on a
pre game meal for all their fans. Pulled Pork on a bun was the meal of
the day.

Dane, you scored the game winning goal in overtime
against Fort Frances. Would
you discuss your performance in that game?
Dane
Morin:
It’s a personal thing for myself, coming from that
team. I hit a pipe
earlier in the game and it was one of those games where you
could feel something positive was going to happen.
Our line was getting chances and the puck was bound to go
in.
